An imaginary bag is used to draw attention to the problems faced by women in society. It contains objects such as pepper spray as a symbol of sexual harassment, tampons, the birth control pill, but also everyday objects such as a lighter or chewing gum. The unemotional photographs are accompanied by interesting facts and texts.
Afterwards, the bags of real women with 4 personal items and an insight into the history of the women's movement are discussed.
I first brainstormed on the subject of tools. I wanted to deal with the problems of women in society. Then I drew up a timetable.
When collecting ideas, I collected objects/tools on specific topics such as menstruation or sexual harassment. I also made a plan for the content.
Later, I played around with different editing and presentation options for the objects and decided on a grid look.
I inserted the researched content and photos into various grid designs until I decided on the final design.
